A beloved employee is the most recent talent to depart Alpine, dealing the squad another blow.


The departure of Davide Brivio, Alpine’s MotoGP star recruit, is expected to be a huge blow to the squad.
Brivio came to the squad three years ago after having a great MotoGP career with Suzuki.
He oversaw the young driver academy as Director of Racing Expansion Projects for the French team.
In MotoGP, Davide Brivio is a household figure who has been credited with helping numerous teams succeed.
He’s accomplished a great deal, particularly in creating clubs from the ground up and leading them to championships.
In MotoGP, he accomplished that feat with Yamaha, and most recently, he guided Joan Mir to victory in a Suzuki.
I’m sure we will see many young drivers go on to achieve fantastic things in their careers,” he continued, wishing the team and the Academy all the best in the future.
I will undoubtedly treasure the modest role I had in some of that success. I am appreciative of the team for granting me permission to follow any future chances that may (and I hope they will) present itself.
