Steelers Head Coach, Mike Tomlin acknowledges confidence and aggressiveness of QB Mason Rudolph
Following Sunday’s significant victory over the Cincinnati Bengals, Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin addressed the media on Tuesday. The quarterback position was a hot topic. Mason Rudolph’s performance and Tomlin received a lot of praise.
Tomlin continued endlessly about Rudolph’s solace and correspondence with the group, the certainty he has in himself and his ability to stay forceful. Tomlin featured Rudolph’s long score to wide recipient George Pickens on third-and-short as Rudolph’s readiness to be forceful beyond the plan and circumstance.
The initial two games Kenny Pickett missed, Tomlin had Mitch Trubisky in the beginning setup and the offense went no place. The offense appeared to be totally unique with Rudolph running the offense. Tomlin didn’t appear to be at all amazed by this, which makes one marvel: Assuming that Tomlin truly felt Rudolph was so fit, why not begin him once again Trubisky three weeks prior?
In the press conference, Tomlin also said that Rudolph would prepare as the starter for Week 17 against the Seattle Seahawks, but that Pickett’s health would decide who would start.
