Jessica Hadwin refuses to get up early to watch her husband play outside, calling people who do so “sick”

Jessica Hadwin’s husband, Adam, will play in this weekend’s British Open Championship after completing the first round on Thursday. The tournament is in Scotland, so American spectators will have to get up bright and early to watch the action. Alarms were sounded early in the morning before the first round, with the first group starting at 1:35 a.m. on the East Coast. Adam Hadwin’s group started work a little later, at 4:14 a.m. When he got the call on Thursday, his wife was probably preparing to play catch-up since she didn’t want to be bothered with the tournament’s start time.

She said this on the eve of the British Open, hilariously calling golf fans who plan to watch all day “disgusting.”

“Shocking to read how many people are up in the middle of the night here to watch golf,” she wrote on X-Timeline on Wednesday. “You’re all sick, lol.”

Since this is the last major tournament of the golf season, many fans will be wide-eyed and bushy-tailed as they watch the 1:30 a.m. tee time. Most of them responded to Jessica Hadwin in saying they would stand up and take care of it.
“It’s the one major I refuse to miss. And drinks at 4:30am are still acceptable, of course, as the sun hasn’t risen.”

“Pulling an all nighter! I can sleep during work tomorrow.”
“I guess I’m sick. I will absolutely be standing. “”
Hadwin responded to these commentators, in fact showing a little remorse in a particular case.
“It brings me a little guilt when I choose sleep rather than looking at my husband in a major,” she replied to someone, noting that her husband is a popular choice in the tournament. But it wasn’t enough to change your heart,
Meanwhile, Adam Hudbin hit the morning immediately after 4:00 am. He pulled +4 in the round of Thursday and was firmly placed in 82 equal at the end of the day. Hopefully Jessica Hadwin can catch him at the start of the second round, as her group begins the match at 9:15 a.m. ET.
