Former Golf Liv Laurie Canter Star wants to be the first player who had previously won the membership of the PGA tour that had previously been competed on a highway.

The canter was called a spare to play seven of the eight events held in the LIV setup in the first season of 2022 and replace Sam Horsfield as part of the next campaign Majistiki. After entering the first two LIV tournaments in 2024 as a wildcard, he gave the DP World Tour another go.

Tell was something of an outlier in the off-course politics between LIV and the DP World Tour, as she was able to play in the Saudi-backed series without being penalized by her tour membership category.

Her return to Wentworth was remarkable, with three top 10s this season before her first win at the European Open in June. This has seen his name rise up the DP World Tour rankings, a big boost due to the top 10 players on the Race to Dubai list not yet receiving their PGA Tour card exemptions for 2025.

The Englishman now sits in one of those 10 spots and with a two-over-par lead with 18 holes remaining, he has a great chance to strengthen his position at this week’s British Open Championship. Kanter arriving on the PGA Tour would be a monumental moment for the sport after the Tour banned its members from joining the LIV and none have yet returned.
