Tiger Woods sold his stunning $4 million mansion to fellow golfer Bubba Watson, who later flipped it for an even higher price.
The 49-year-old resided in his breathtaking Orlando, Florida mansion for many years, and it was the same location of his notorious 2009 car crash. Reports from Los Angeles suggest that the 15-time major champion sold his home to now-LIV star Watson for approximately $2.5M, following the scandal that ensued after his accident.
Watson purchased the property from Woods, nestled on an island within the development, in 2013. The buyout deal also included access to the practice facilities at the exclusive Isleworth Golf and Country Club.
If Woods was already feeling sorrowful about having to part with his gorgeous mansion following his 2009 scandal, he may have been further irked by the profit Watson made from the sale.
The property was later sold again by Watson for $4.2M in 2016, after Woods lost several endorsements and dealt with a costly divorce from Elin Nordegren.
Although the property was initially listed for $5.6M, Watson still pocketed a neat profit of around $1.7M. The property offers a massive 8,000 square feet of living space, and residents can enjoy the golf and tennis amenities at the local country club.
For those who prefer indoor relaxation time, the property boasts a game/media room, home theatre, and a two-story living room. It also features a spacious office, formal dining room, fully-equipped kitchen, and family room.
