Other quarterback options that could join the Browns include Robert Griffin III, Matt Ryan and Nick Foles.

The Cleveland Browns will have to look at all their options after franchise quarterback Deshaun Watson announced he will undergo season-ending surgery on his throwing shoulder.

Tom Brady, now retired seven-time Super Bowl champion, is an interesting choice.
Tom Brady is the BetOnline.ag favorite to sign with the Cleveland Browns to replace Deshaun Watson.

The 15-time Pro Bowler officially announced his retirement in February 2023.

At online betting platform BetOnline.ag, Brady is now the quarterback favorite to sign with the Browns in the 2023 regular season.

He’s listed with the top odds at +300, meaning a $100 bet would net $400 in return for a $300 profit.

Robert Griffin III (+400), Matt Ryan (+600), Nick Foles (+600), and Trevor Siemian (+700) follow Brady with the next best odds.

Other quarterbacks listed are Colin Kaepernick (+2000), Joe Flacco (+3300), Bryce Perkins, E.J. Perry, Jake Luton, and Chase Garbers.

Fans on X, formerly known as Twitter, weren’t buying the odds.

One wrote: “Brady not doing it.”

A second said: “This list is absolutely insane.”

Another added: “You lost me that Brady and RGIII have to beat odds to play.”

And a fourth joked: “Anyone who bets on this should be fast-tracked to the top VIP rewards tier.”

In Watson’s absence, the Browns will turn to rookie quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson.

Brady has not addressed the rumors, although it’s most likely he’ll stay retired, considering he was spotted with Fox analyst Erin Andrews prepping for his role next year with the network.

The New England Patriots legend signed a 10-year, $375 million contract to become Fox’s lead color commentator.

He’ll start the role next season.

Unfortunately for Brady, his job with Fox is also believed to be holding back his ownership deal with the Las Vegas Raiders.

Brady is attempting to purchase a 10% share of the Raiders for $175 million.

However, attempts to become a minority owner have been held up by the NFL ownership committee.

“We’re trying to work through,” Jim Irsay, the Indianapolis Colts owner said to the Boston Globe.

“The number just has to be a reasonable number for purchase price for Tom, is the only thing.

“If reasonable value says that 10% should be $525 million, you can’t pay $175 million.”

NFL owners will next get a chance to vote on the issue in December.
