Stephen Curry’s Final Status vs. Thunder Revealed by Steve Kerr
After missing the past two games with a sprained right knee, Stephen Curry’s long-awaited return to the lineup could finally be seen as the Warriors prepare to face the Lightning.
Warriors coach Steve Kerr announced Saturday that the 35-year-old is expected to play in Golden State’s home opener against Oklahoma City after being ruled out for pregame exposure.
Barring any windfalls, Curry is having an outstanding season as a superstar point guard, with the 14-year veteran averaging 30.7 points per game on 48.8/44.6/93.0 splits.
With Curry out, the Warriors (6-7) were down two games at halftime and Draymond Green was also suspended for five games.
Green’s hit resulted in an ejection from Tuesday’s 104-101 tournament loss to the Timberwolves and an ejection from Thursday’s 128-109 loss to OKC.
