Deion Sanders is perplexed after learning the location of Mount Rushmore.
Deion Sanders, the legendary football coach for Colorado and NFL player, seemed to be unaware of the existence or location of Mount Rushmore, mistakenly thinking it was located in Los Angeles.
Deion Sanders said that he might need a refresher course in geography after mistaking the name of Mount Rushmore for a location in Los Angeles.
During a conversation about expectations, the head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes and NFL Hall of Famer was reminded of the famous sculpture of the four Presidents: George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln. This sculpture is frequently used in sports to denote the top four players in any given field.
Sanders asked, “What’s that little four heads that’s in California? ” after explaining the monument after failing to recall its name. What term is used for those? the faces of the persons engraved?”
When a reporter questioned Sanders about whether he was talking about Mount Rushmore, he responded accurately by stating that it is in South Dakota.
Sanders appeared stunned and then shook his head, confessing, “I thought it was in LA all this time.” My geography, wow.”
More than 200,000 people have shared the video on social media, and many are shocked by Sanders’ accident.

Sanders’ new residence in Boulder, Colorado, is only nine hours away from South Dakota, which is located just one state apart. Nebraska is sandwiched between the two states.
