Additionally, Cleveland promoted safety Tanner McCalister and cornerback A.J. Green off the practice squad.

Kunaszyk is a favorite of the defensive coaching staff, and defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz donned the linebacker’s jersey earlier this year in homage.

Kunaszyk played three seasons for the Cal Golden Bears after starting his collegiate career at the junior college level. As a senior, he was selected an All-American and an All-PAC-12.

After playing three seasons with Carolina and Washington, he was not selected in the 2019 draft.

After signing with the Browns in 2022, Kunaszyk made two starts and recorded a career-high 22 tackles.

Since the end of August, the linebacker has been placed on injured reserve.

Since joining Cleveland’s secondary in 2020 as an undrafted free agent out of Oklahoma State, Green has been a part of the team.

He has since started two games while being on and off the Browns practice squad.

39 tackles, seven passes defended, and two interceptions round out his career totals.

Prior to moving as a graduate transfer to Ohio State, McCalister was a player at Oklahoma State.

McCalister had 24 tackles, three interceptions, and one pass deflection in his one season with the Buckeyes.

This past April, the safety was also added to the Browns practice squad without being drafted.

The Cleveland team, which includes all three players, will be looking to end the Broncos’ four-game winning streak.

The Browns and Baltimore Ravens would share first place in the AFC North if the Browns prevailed.
