China, Miami, Austria, Austin, Sao Paulo, and Qatar have been confirmed as the 2024 sprint locations by Formula One.
Six Grand Prix have been selected to host’sprint’ races in the 2024 Formula 1 season: China, Miami, Austria, Austin, Sao Paulo, and Qatar.
On Tuesday, Formula One (F1) revealed the schedule of races and stated that format modifications were being considered.
It has been essentially decided that the sprint race qualifying will now take place on Friday, while the grand prix qualifying will take place on Saturday.
There are plans to make more drastic adjustments, such flipping the sprint grid.
These will be covered at the January meeting of the F1 Commission, which is made up of the 10 teams, the FIA, and F1.
“Since its creation in 2021, the sprint has been consistent in delivering increased audiences on Formula One,” stated F1 President Stefano Domenicali.
