Son of a Super Bowl-winning coach could be an offensive lineman for the Steelers

Joe Starkey of 93.7 The Fan suggested San Francisco 49ers passing game expert Klint Kubiak as a possible offensive coordinator option for Pittsburgh during the conversation. Kubiak is the oldest son of former NFL head coach Gary Kubiak, who won a championship in 2015 while coaching the Denver Broncos.
King praised the 49ers passing game expert and emphasized that Steelers fans and the media shouldn’t worry about names.
“Klint Kubiak is someone I like,” King declared. “I believe he is very intelligent, that he possesses a lot of his father’s traits, and that he also possesses a lot of innovation.”

Even though Kubiak is only 36 years old, his resume is already impressive. He is presently in his first season with the 49ers, working under Kyle Shanahan as the passing game coordinator.
However, Kubiak started his NFL career with the Minnesota Vikings in 2013. The year after Denver’s Super Bowl victory, he went on to work as an offensive assistant for his father’s coaching staff.

Before signing with the 49ers last season, Klint came back to Denver to serve as the quarterback/passing game coordinator for the Broncos.
In his one season as offensive coordinator for the Vikings, Minnesota placed 12th in terms of yards and 14th in terms of points. The Vikings had the fewest interceptions in the league while ranking 11th in passing yards and 17th in running yards.

King was generic about the adjustments he advised the Steelers make this offseason, apart from praising Kubiak.
