A former All-SEC wide receiver pledges to Colorado
Colorado’s offensive should be extremely powerful the following season as the pieces are starting to fit together. Wide receiver Will Sheppard, a four-star recruit via the transfer portal, committed to the Buffs on Thursday, continuing the work head coach Deion Sanders has already put in to strengthen his offensive line.
Sheppard led the Vanderbilt Commodores in receiving yards (684 total) and touchdowns (8) last season. The 6-foot-3, 198-pound Sheppard was selected to the second team of the SEC in 2022 after amassing 776 receiving yards.
Sheppard is the Buffs’ second-season transfer wide receiver. Terrell Timmons Jr., a defector from North Carolina State, was the first.
People reacted enthusiastically to Sheppard’s dedication to Coach Prime’s Buffs, as one might anticipate.
