TRADE: Colts sign WR D.J. Montgomery, cut OG Arlington Hambright

The Colts announced on Thursday that they have added wide receiver D.J. Montgomery from the practice squad to the 53-man roster.

In response, they waived guard Arlington Hambright.

Montgomery has played in three games this season while being a member of the team’s practice squad and active roster.

On August 18, he became a Colts player.

Montgomery was on the Texans practice squad last season, having previously spent time with the Colts during their 2022 training camp. Montgomery also played for the USFL’s Michigan Panthers.

He was also a member of the Browns and Jets.

This season, Hambright has alternated between the team’s main roster and practice squad. He participated in two Indianapolis games.
