Ogletree didn’t really have to bring home the Asian Visit title to play LIV Golf as he had proactively procured an adequate number of focuses through a modest bunch of starts as a save to slip out from the shadows ‘Zone’ and start talks with a couple of groups. However, a brilliant season on different fronts was compensated by the 2019 U.S. Novice champion consenting to join Mickelson’s group of four.
Ogletree will join comrades Brendan Steele and Cameron Tringale on the six-time Significant hero’s group and is an immediate swap for James Piot, who was consigned last season and didn’t procure his direction back to the Association through the new LIV Advancements occasion.
Mickelson said of Ogletree in a statement: Andy is perhaps of the most amazing youthful player in the game who has acquired his spot on LIV. The work he has kept on placing in and the strength he showed this previous year in making his own prosperity was wonderful to see. He makes the HyFlyers a competitor one year from now and similarly as critically, Andy fits in impeccably with everybody in the group.”
With two months to go before the third time of LIV Golf starts, just four of the 13 sides have any spaces left on them. Cleeks GC, led by Martin Kaymer, has two open spots, Iron Heads GC, led by Kevin Na, has one, Ripper GC, led by Cameron Smith, has two free spots, and Jon Rahm’s team hasn’t named any of the Spaniard’s teammates yet.

Ogletree stated, I began getting some calls and it was similar to school enrolling once more. A couple of groups needed to meet and I had discussions with a portion of the chiefs and it followed from that point. The final contract had to be approved because LIV Golf owns the teams. All of this was worked out over the past few weeks.
“I was in a lucky circumstance having the option to go with LIV during the year. As a reserve, I attended each tournament. I was observing the team dynamics, support systems, and overall operation of each tournament. I had the option to pose a ton of inquiries and get suppositions from various players. What’s more, I enjoyed the manner in which Phil went about things and to get that information from one of the best ever is an open door I was unable to turn down.”
