Hamilton highlights his 2023 Formula One campaign.
Despite going through his second consecutive season without a win in Formula 1, Lewis Hamilton, a driver for Mercedes, was able to identify a high point of the season.
Hamilton named his pole position lap at the Hungarian Grand Prix as the highlight of his campaign.
With his most recent Formula One victory coming in the 2021 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, Hamilton went through his second straight season without winning a race.
Since new technical regulations went into effect at the beginning of 2022, Mercedes has fallen in the rankings while competitor Red Bull has dominated the race.
The only other occasion in the previous two seasons that Hamilton has finished first in a qualifying session is when he took the lead in Budapest earlier this year.
