Jaylen Warren of the Steelers provides grim criticism on George Pickens.
Some of the time, when you need to make yourself clear, there’s no need to focus on saying a great deal, it’s just about making things understood. You don’t have to shout or holler and you can be clearly heard. When asked about teammate George Pickens’ conscious decision not to block for Warren on a run that might have scored because Pickens was concerned about getting hurt, Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jaylen Warren responded in a single sentence.
Warren stated, “If I were in that position, I would have blocked for him.”
This wasn’t everything that Warren expressed however this made a difference. Warren clarified that injury could not have possibly been at the forefront of his thoughts. He’d have done how must be helped his partner.
Pickens has shown this season to be about himself rather than the group. The main thing more terrible than his way of behaving is the way that the group doesn’t appear to be successfully address it. In the meantime, Warren must wonder if his teammate will make a business decision or have his back the next time he is out there trying to help the team win.
