BEREA, Ohio — While Myles Garrett’s mentors and colleagues have beat the drum this week for him to win NFL Guarded Player of the Year, he’s more keen on breaking out of his minislump.
Garrett, who drove the NFL with 13.0 sacks a month prior, hasn’t had one in a profession long four games for different reasons, including chips, slides, speedy deliveries and unflagged holds.
Stuck on unfortunate No. 13; he has moved up to No. 7 in the NFL, three behind pioneer T.J. Watt.
