EXCLUSIVE: Broderick Jones says Steelers ‘kicking the door down’ to AFC playoffs
This weekend will require many things to go the Pittsburgh Steelers’ way, but rookie offensive tackle Broderick Jones is striving for it.
He just shared on his Instagram account, “Slip up and let us in we kicking the door down.”
Pittsburgh can still make it happen, but it won’t be a win-and-get-in scenario. Should that be the case. Regrettably, their preparations were derailed by a three-game losing streak in the middle of the season’s second half.
The easiest route is for the Steelers to defeat the Baltimore Ravens. In order for the Steelers to advance to the playoffs, they must either of two things occur: Either the Buffalo Bills versus the Miami Dolphins or the Jacksonville Jaguars versus the Tennessee Titans must loose one of their games to the Tennessee Titans or Miami Dolphins.
If the Steelers lose this afternoon, there is a plan in place—one we’d prefer not to consider. In order for it to occur, the Denver Broncos would need to defeat the Las Vegas Raiders and the Jaguars would specifically need to lose.
