Exclusive: Transfer Quarterback Takes Interest In Auburn Tigers

Looking via the transfer portal, the Auburn Tigers did not go far for a quarterback.

Leading into the spring, the Tigers appear to be rather satisfied with their room, with incumbent Payton Thorne returning for 2024 along with freshmen Holden Geriner, Hank Brown, and Walker White.

It doesn’t imply, however, that acquiring a quarterback isn’t possible.

Since using the gateway on December 4th, James Madison transfer Jordan McCloud is still without a new residence. His passion in Auburn football appears to have grown on social media.

McCloud on Wednesday afternoon tweeted a remark from one of his JMU receivers. Hugh Freeze, the head coach of Auburn, was mentioned by a fan account in the answers, and McCloud found the response amusing.

Recently, the former signal-caller for the Dukes has also following a few media people and Auburn employees. McCloud is now trailing Freeze and Derrick Nix, the recently recruited offensive coordinator.

In 36 career games, McCloud has completed 63.5% of his throws for 6,908 yards, 58 touchdowns and 25 interceptions. He also has 708 career rushing yards to go with 13 scores on the ground.
