Team rosters for LIV Golf 2024: Complete list verified as Jon Rahm leads Legion XIII
LIV Golf returns for its third season on Friday with the debuts of the likes of Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton, with each team’s selection confirmed.
LIV Golf’s third campaign begins on Friday with the selections confirmed ahead of the season opener in Mayakoba, Mexico.
The Saudi-funded league has had an eventful off-season, highlighted by the acquisition of two-time major champion and Ryder Cup star John Rahm for around £450m. Tyrrell Hutton and Adrian Meronc are among the other players taking part in the invitational tournament.
Charles Howell III was the defending champion after winning by four shots at El Camaleon Golf Course 12 months ago, but Rahm was the favorite to lift the trophy and $4 million in cash. Hatton, Joaquin Niemann, Cameron Smith and Bryson DeChambeau are also among the strong contenders to open the season. Here’s everything you need to know about the players and teams involved…

New Signings
Rahm, Hatton and Meronk were major additions to LIV during the offseason, but several other players joined the sectional tournament. Rahm and Hatton’s corps earned their LIV Tour cards. Jinichiro Kozuma will play for the Ironheads after finishing in the top three of the event. The winner of the tournament was Finland’s Kalle Samojja, who plays for Clix. Former US Amateur Champion Andy Ogletree returns to LIV after being sidelined for poor performance prior to the start of last season. He returned to his former position by participating in the Asian Tour and winning the Medal of Honor. Fellow PGA Tour winner Lucas Herbert has joined the Australian Ripper after a disappointing season on the PGA Tour.
