Adrian Peterson, Vikings Legend ‘Taking Legal Action’ Over Estate Sale

Adrian Peterson, the renowned running back of Minnesota Vikings, is pursuing legal proceedings regarding memorabilia that he claims are being illicitly sold at an estate sale in Houston.

According to a post by NFL reporter Dov Kleiman on X (formerly known as Twitter) on February 21, Adrian Peterson will be selling his MVP, ROTY, OPOTY trophies and other items in an estate sale taking place in Houston.

Several hours later, Peterson vehemently denied the accusations of a “false story.”

Peterson expressed his intention to dispel recent rumors and media reports by asserting, “An estate sale company disregarded my instructions not to interfere with personal belongings and included some of my trophies in a sale without my permission. It is essential for me to clarify that I did not grant authorization for the disposal of any of these awards, and legal actions will be taken.”

My mistake was trusting this company without proper supervision. Despite giving them clear instructions, they unlawfully accessed several of our storage units. I want to make it abundantly clear that my financial stability is not an issue and that I would never sell off the trophies earned through hard work and dedication.

If I were to sell them, there are people who would be interested. However, selling my personal items online indiscriminately is not ideal. Take a moment to consider that thought.

It is worrisome that the media did not corroborate this information with either me or my publicist, particularly since many of you have direct access to me. Regardless, I felt compelled to speak out and share my perspective on this issue as numerous individuals have reached out via text in the past hour. Despite everything, all is well – I will head upstairs now and continue giving thanks to God without allowing adversity or negativity (represented by “the devil”) to triumph over positivity and hope within us all. Take care everyone!
