Before their public confrontation, Erica Herman’s ex-boyfriend Tiger Woods became anxious.
Erica Herman, the former girlfriend of Tiger Woods, has initiated legal action to void a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) that she entered into at the onset of their romance in 2017.
Herman claims that the NDA was signed under coercion, and she aims to have it deemed invalid.
Woods is anxious about the possibility of their relationship struggles being exposed to the public through legal proceedings, which could result in another scandal and add to his already mounting stress.
According to a source in proximity to the professional golfer, as reported by People magazine: “Tiger perceives this as yet another shakedown and desires not to face any further scandal.”
According to the source, Herman is aware of Woods’ anxiety about their predicament and there’s currently a great deal of panic.
Although Herman’s lawsuit does not directly accuse Woods of any wrongdoing, it references a law that permits NDAs to be invalidated in sexual assault cases.
The New York Post obtained various court papers in which Herman took legal action against Woods’ Trust for unlawful eviction and demanded $30 million as compensation for direct and indirect losses. This landlord complaint was filed in October 2022.
According to the source, Woods finds Herman’s requested amount of $30 million in the filing “absurd.”
Erica’s words have put Woods in a state of panic.
Reports suggest that Woods is currently exploring options to safeguard himself from potential revelations by Herman through a tell-all interview. An insider revealed that he must weigh the cost of suppression against the possibility of her conversing with Dr. Phil and consequently, prioritize his own well-being in this situation.
According to reports, Woods and Herman had a toxic relationship which was apparent to those around them last year. Since at least 2019, Herman has resided with Woods and his children in their Jupiter, Florida mansion.
