Coach Prime tells EA Sports he stands on business
Coach Prime sent a message to video game manufacturers ahead of the release of College Football 2025.
Deion Sanders wanted to let EA Sports know that he is open to accepting offers. The Colorado Buffaloes coach released a short but effective statement via Well Off Media on Tuesday. “EA Sports, we’re in business,” Sanders said. There was no further comment, leaving many to wonder if the video game giant had asked Coach Prime to appear on the cover of College Football 2025. Sanders is no stranger to EA Sports’ lineup. Last year, he was added to Madden as an NFL Draft Advisor in Superstar mode. EA Sports previously announced that it would give its 11,000 players across the United States a $600 bonus, as well as a free copy of the final product before it hits store shelves. Not everyone is happy with the long-awaited return, as some players decided to refuse the contract. However, by early March, more than 10,000 players were said to have accepted offers.
Colorado two-way star Travis Hunter became the first major player to play in the game. Winner Paul Hornung announced his intention to be the first athlete to accept EA’s offer. He will be a rare player as he is one of the few players who can shoot from both sides of the ball. His player rating should be one of the highest in the game.
Coach Prime and the Buffs are having an interesting preseason. One of the “undead” periods: Sanders’ new book, sneakers and Nike’s new uniform release. Colorado will play its annual spring game on April 27th at Folsom Field. Tickets are expected to sell out but are not yet on sale.
