Exclusive; CBS Analyst Calls Ladd McConkey “The Most Underrated Receiver” in This Year’s Draft
Although Ladd McConkey’s talents as an elite playmaker have been well-known among devoted Georgia football fans, his name has yet to gain widespread recognition amongst many NFL enthusiasts.
Ryan Wilson, an analyst at CBSSports, believes that although the name McConkey may not evoke as much enthusiasm among NFL fans as names like “Marvin Harrison Jr.” or “Malik Nabers,” he is a genuine talent in this year’s draft who is unjustly being disregarded by many.
According to Wilson, the receiver from Georgia is highly undervalued in this year’s NFL Draft. Additionally, he thinks McConkey has a chance of being selected in the first round by teams like Kansas City Chiefs or Buffalo Bills if they recognize his abilities.
When the 2024 NFL Draft commences on Thursday, April 25th in Detroit, Michigan, McConkey and several Bulldog hopefuls will be anxiously anticipating to hear their names announced.
