Exclusive; Tiger Woods ‘flies into Augusta on his private jet to play secret pre-Masters practice round with club chairman Fred Ridley and Justin Thomas’

Reports indicate that Tiger Woods returned to the revered Augusta National on Saturday in anticipation of this year’s Masters.

Less than two weeks away from the highly-anticipated golf major, it was reported on social media that Woods’ private jet landed at Augusta Regional Airport Saturday morning.

Soon after, Bob Harig – the golf writer for Sports Illustrated and TW Legion – a notorious follower of Woods both confirmed that the 15-time major champion had indeed driven down Magnolia Lane moments ago.

Harig reported that Augusta club chairman Fred Ridley and fellow PGA Tour pro Justin Thomas accompanied Woods for a practice round at Augusta National.

It is improbable that any photographic or video evidence will surface from the round played within the secluded boundaries of the club. Regardless, it seems apparent that Woods has travelled to Georgia for a scouting expedition before his forthcoming Masters comeback in April.

On Saturday morning, Woods arrived in Augusta, Georgia for his upcoming return to the course.

Woods has been making headlines for the second time this week, as a photo of him and his ex-wife Elin Nordegren reuniting went viral.

Both Woods and Nordegren were present to commemorate the victory of their son Charlie, aged 15, in a high school golf championship held in Palm Beach Florida.

Despite Woods’ previous claims of co-parenting effectively, he was observed standing uncomfortably aside while Nordegren took a photo with Charlie and her child from former NFL athlete Jordan Cameron.

At 48 years old, Woods had been joined in matrimony with Swedish model Nordegren for six years until their divorce in 2010. Unfortunately, the infamous cheating scandal involving the golf legend was ultimately what led to the breakdown of their union.

Prior to parting ways, they had two children together: Charlie who is currently 15 years old and Samantha who is 16. Nordegren subsequently gave birth to her fourth child, Arthur in December of 2019 with former NFL player Jordan Cameron.

In mid-February, Woods participated in the Genesis Open at Riviera but later withdrew due to stomach issues. Later on, it was confirmed that he had contracted influenza before his departure from the tournament.

Shortly after leaving the course on a golf-cart, an ambulance arrived which caused concerns about his well-being. However, Woods did not require assistance from the emergency vehicle.

On Monday, Woods celebrated the state championship by taking a photo with his son Charlie.

“I’m taking a break and experiencing improvement. Best of luck to the players for the upcoming weekend. Although I am saddened by my inability to attend, I would like to express gratitude towards @GenesisUSA and fans alike for their support.”

Following his absence from the Players Championship in Florida, it seems that Woods has been occupied with getting ready to make a comeback to competitive play within six weeks.

The 48-year-old holds the record for donning the green jacket at Augusta National five times, with his most prominent victory being in 2019 when he triumphed against all odds after recovering from a leg injury.

With a remarkable career, he has won 82 PGA Tour events to tie for the all-time top spot and earned an extraordinary total of 15 major titles.
