Exclusive; Special tribute to Tiger Woods’ 2019 Masters triumph set to air ahead of the 2024 edition of the tournament

A preview of Tiger Woods’ remarkable 2019 win preceding the Masters will air on CBS next weekend at 2 pm EST. The world will witness an intimate portrayal of one of golf’s most extraordinary moments in recent times as Woods defied his physical and age-related limitations to secure a fifth green jacket.

The show, entitled A Sunday Unlike Any Other, will be presented in collaboration with Rolex by the network. It is uncertain whether Woods can replicate his past success this year; however, spectators will have an opportunity to revisit one of his most memorable experiences.

It has been reported that Woods is already preparing for the tournament, despite not having played since withdrawing from the Genesis Invitational due to illness and subsequently skipping last month’s Players Championship.

Despite his ongoing health problems, Woods managed to secure a well-deserved victory in 2019 at the age of 43 despite not being in peak physical condition.

By sinking his final putt on the 18th hole, he claimed victory against Brooks Koepka, Dustin Johnson and Xander Schauffele with a narrow margin. This unexpected triumph was something no golf enthusiast could have foreseen.

According to Brooks Koepka, he “blew” the 2019 Masters and lost it to Tiger Woods.

One of the most self-assured players in golf, Brooks Koepka is recognized as among the finest around. Though he boasts five Major titles – including three PGA Championships and two victories at U.S. Open tournaments – being certain more should have come his way remains a fundamental part of who he is. As an esteemed LIV Golf representative, Koepka embodies both talent and conviction on par with very few others in professional athletics today.

On numerous occasions, he has come extremely close to finishing at the top. In 2019, he was in a tie for second place but lost to Tiger Woods. Similarly, last year saw him tied for second and losing out to Jon Rahm.

Koepka thinks that despite a few other blunders, he could have reached nine by now and is confident about achieving ten or more in his career. As per Palm Beach Post, he stated this.

I believe that I have the potential to reach 12 wins. However, when I reflect on my past losses, there are a few notable ones such as Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods which brings my current count down to eight. Additionally, Gary Woodland also bested me in another competition bringing it down further making me feel like I should currently be at nine victories instead of where I am now.

When it comes to Woods, he holds an impressive record of 15 Major championships – the second-most in history. Koepka aspires to achieve this milestone someday.

“I have high hopes for that. Wouldn’t it be amazing? That was the previous standard, but I surpassed it by giving him 15.”

In multiple Majors, Koepka has experienced setbacks either due to losing a lead or making out on one putt or swing. He acknowledges that these were opportunities for him to secure wins but ultimately led to handing the victory over to his opponents. Nevertheless, confidence remains an integral part of LIV Golfer’s game.

Thanks to his multiple victories, Koepka has secured qualifications for several Major events in the upcoming years. With this advantage, he can further pursue triumphs and prevent surrendering trophies to other players.
