Bryson DeChambeau insists that the three main tours in men’s professional golf must come to some sort of an agreement regarding unification “fast” as “too many people are losing interest” in the sport.

Data in relation to the PGA Tour has shown that viewing figures are declining year-on-year for many events while the general consensus among fans on social media appears to be that golf is not as appealing to watch on TV as it was prior to the invention of LIV.

Even though the agreement for a merger was finalized last summer, there have been no further developments made public.

The ongoing conflict within the golf community seems to be wearing down the determination of both players and fans.

Before the LIV Golf Miami event, DeChambeau expressed his opinions, saying that the governing bodies have several options to address the issue.

He emphasized that reuniting is crucial for the fans. He expressed that there are numerous approaches to resolving the issue. In his opinion, it is crucial for the fans that things are reconciled from the players’ point of view.

“The sport is propelled by its fans. Without them, golf wouldn’t exist.

Our goal isn’t to entertain but to prioritize the fans. It’s crucial to find a way to unite and work together, regardless of the challenges we face.”

“We are able to provide suggestions.

We can offer small insights where we suggest that something may be a good idea or not, but at the end of the day, it is the responsibility of the higher-ups to make decisions promptly because we cannot continue in the current direction.”
