Breaking; Ex-Bills Safety Jordan Poyer Sends 4-Word Message to Josh Allen

Jordan Poyer, who has spent the past seven seasons with the Buffalo Bills, declares that he’s prepared to face his ex-teammates. He is willing to engage in a confrontation with Josh Allen on an open field if necessary.

Following a cap-cutting measure by the Bills in March, Poyer was released. However, he quickly secured a one-year contract with their longstanding rivals – the Miami Dolphins. Recently, during an appearance on Eric Wood’s podcast show, both former Buffalo teammates discussed how it would feel to meet each other twice next season when Poyer takes on his ex-team as All-Pro safety for the Dolphins.

When Wood inquired if Poyer had the ability to take down Allen individually, the safety conveyed a message to his previous companion.

“I am definitely playing football,” stated Poyer.

Although Poyer acknowledged that a massive 6-foot-5, 250-pound quarterback sprinting towards them on the field might not be anyone’s cup of tea, he expressed confidence in his instincts should such an event occur during the upcoming season.

Buffalo Earns Jordan Poyer’s Affection

Despite being released by the Bills in March, Poyer has repeatedly expressed his animosity towards them. During an appearance on SiriusXM NFL Radio on April 10th, he acknowledged that while he is appreciative of his time with Buffalo, he eagerly anticipates a fresh start with Miami.

Poyer expressed his fondness for Buffalo, where he was released, and enjoyed his time exploring and being with family. He had the opportunity to learn and grow while watching his daughter develop in the city. However, he is now excited about starting anew in South Florida as part of their football team. His aim is to help them overcome obstacles and succeed together.

Acknowledging the NFL’s nature as a business, Poyer expressed his readiness for unfavorable circumstances as the offseason commenced with an imposing salary cap dilemma. Ultimately, due to this financial conundrum, notable figures such as cornerback Tre’Davious White and center Mitch Morse were let go by The Bills organization of longstanding tenure.

Despite some of Poyer’s acquaintances being less tactful about his discharge, there were those who expressed their disapproval in harsher terms. One such individual was Jeremiah Poyer, the athlete’s brother, who turned to social media shortly after the release and shared outspoken criticism of Brandon Beane – Bills’ general manager. Posting on X platform, he wrote: “lol welp… bombs away!!! Lmao what an idiot he is.”

Jordan Poyer is eagerly looking forward to his fresh chance.

Poyer expressed his admiration for the Dolphins, citing their recent rebuilding efforts. He also shared his enthusiasm for playing under coach Mike McDaniel in the upcoming season.

Poyer revealed, “Throughout my seven-year tenure in the AFC East, I’ve observed their football team’s growth. Additionally, knowing a few people on that squad helped with my transition down here to Miami. However, it was primarily Mike who caught my attention due to his impressive coaching skills and admirable personal qualities – both of which have impacted me greatly along with his off-field tale resonating with mine. Moreover, living in South Florida during offseasons only made everything simpler for me when selecting this destination.”
