Exclusive; Bills EDGE Von Miller Turns Heads With Cryptic Instagram Post

For the second consecutive year, drama is following a star player as mandatory minicamp begins for the Buffalo Bills.

Edge rusher Von Miller has stirred up rumors with a puzzling Instagram post, reminiscent of wide receiver Stefon Diggs’ exclusion from the first day of minicamp one year ago. The seasoned player uploaded an internet meme featuring a luxurious vehicle parked beside an unremarkable and modest abode – a visual that historically signifies excellent athletes being squandered by inadequate team management within athletics.

Despite not providing any contextual information regarding the image, Miller’s followers wondered if he was dissatisfied with his role on the team.

Von Miller shows no signs of unhappiness.

Although there was a lot of speculation about the image, there didn’t seem to be any indication that Miller wasn’t pleased with his team. Additionally, on Instagram stories he shared multiple photos of himself practicing and even used the caption “Hard Hat, Lunch Pail” to illustrate how much hard work he was putting in.

On Instagram, Miller posted another photo with a positive outlook on the upcoming season.

Miller stated in the caption, “In Year 14.. I am still staying connected. Still finding joy every day. Continuously relying on prayer and following God’s guidance.”

Von Miller is hoping for a comeback.

After experiencing a torn ACL, Miller had a challenging season where his performance was lackluster. The seasoned player’s record showed an all-time low of three overall tackles throughout 12 games with no sacks and merely three quarterback hits recorded.

During the offseason, Miller and the Bills came to an agreement regarding a revised contract that brought down his salary cap amount by $8.02 million for 2024. Following this announcement, Brandon Beane, the general manager of Buffalo’s football team commended Miller for demonstrating tremendous altruism in making such a concession on behalf of their organization.

“I believe Von demonstrated an act of generosity that not many would have done. Despite how he played on the field, one cannot deny his decision to accept less than what was promised,” stated Beane in March according to reports from the Buffalo News.

Beane disclosed that Miller took part in the negotiations of the contract, a departure from customary practice according to the general manager.

“The team is his top priority and winning is what he desires,” stated Beane. “He has consistently voiced this sentiment since joining us. It’s rare for a player, particularly one of his caliber who will inevitably be inducted into the Hall of Fame on their first try, to willingly accept a salary cut that significant below their guaranteed amount. I have tremendous admiration for him.”

There are signs that Miller is regaining his form. According to Syracuse.com journalist Matt Parrino, he displayed exceptional skills during this week’s practice session and delivered his finest on-field performance in several months.

According to Parrino, Miller hasn’t displayed the same level of speed, burst and edge bend since he tore his ACL on Thanksgiving in 2022. During last season’s practice sessions, he was unable to do without a knee brace; however this off-season including OTAs have seen him discard it. Despite wanting to play for several more seasons, there is indication that Tuesday’s non-padded practice session suggests it could be achieved by Miller.
