Pat Perez sends timely reminder to Dustin Johnson as LIV Golf future remains uncertain

Pat Perez has been unable to find his best form while competing in 2024 with the LIV Golf setup, but the 4Aces star showed a much-improved performance heading into the Asian Tour.

Pat Perez showed LIV Golf captain Dustin Johnson his worth after the out-of-form star earned his first top 10 finish of the season at the Asian Tour’s International Series event in Morocco.

With the LIV setup taking a break ahead of their move to Europe later this month, Perez has opted to embark on the Asian Tour to regain some much-needed form ahead of next week’s event at Valderrama. Perez sits precariously above the LIV relegation zone and could lose his spot on the breakaway circuit if he finishes in the top four.

Facing relegation, Perez improved his chances of escaping the relegation zone at LIV’s final event in Nashville, finishing in a tie for 14th place and delivering his best performance of the 2024 season so far. There is no doubt that the Americans will need the same thing in the last four events of the regular season, if it should avoid falling, and the trip far from the broken league in Morocco, it seems, n ‘Has help him. Perez continued his return in good shape to Royal Golf Dar es Salam. The former PGA Tour star finished the Asian Tour week tied for eighth after finishing 72 holes in nine under par. His best performance this week came in the third round on Saturday, when Perez fired seven birdies along the way for an astounding six-under 68. That left him four strokes behind heading into the final round, and although he couldn’t chase the leaders on Sunday, he shot a 74 to finish in the top 10 in North Africa. The event on the Asian Circuit was packed with LIV-configured players who were able to take part in the International Series thanks to an alliance between the two circuits.
