Appeared at a press conference on the Royalto Days of Open Championship 2024
Tiger Woods will appear at a press conference at the 2024 opening championship on the eve of the major. The last major this year is scheduled for the Royaltoon next week. The press conference will take place on July 16, the day before the tournament.
Golf journalist Jack Mirko recently shared the schedule for the press conference, in which the legendary golfer’s name was mentioned. Press conferences will begin on Monday 15 July, with defending champion Brian Harman addressing the media at 14:00 BST, followed by Ludwig Aberg and Robert McIntyre.
On the second day, 16 July, Rory McIlroy, Bryson DeChambeau, Jon Rahm, Tiger Woods, Scottie Scheffler and Xander Schauffele will address the media. Woods will appear at 11:00 BST.

Fans can expect Woods to return for the next major championship once the press conference schedule is announced. It will be the first time Woods returns to play at the British Open since 2022, as he did not play last year.
Woods has won The Open Championship three times in his career and will be looking to add another trophy next week. Tiger Woods has had a brilliant career at the British Open Championship over the years. He debuted in the tournament as an amateur in 1995 and performed well, finishing T68. Woods has played in 22 British Open Championships during his career, qualifying 18 times and finishing in the top 10 in major championships 10 times. The last time the British Open was held at Royal Troon was in 2016, but Woods did not play in the tournament that year. However, he has played at Royal Troon in the past, finishing ninth in 2004.
In 2024, Tiger Woods will have played in three majors but only qualified for the Masters. Tiger Woods has won 15 major championships in his career, second only to Jack Nicklaus who won 18. He has won all four major championships at least three times. Despite his injuries, the American golfer has continued to perform impressively in major tournaments and amaze his fans with his stellar performances, even winning the 2008 US Open despite overcoming an injury. He’s done it before, and fans can expect to be waiting to see him do it again.
