NFL star Sauce Gardner says his respect for Tiger Woods has “increased 10-fold” after the golfer’s high-dollar gambling scandal was exposed
NFL star Sauce Gardner is trying his hand at golf this summer. He frequently posts his learnings, questions, opinions and daily golfing achievements on his X account. Recently, Gardner said that his respect for legendary golfer Tiger Woods “grew tenfold” after he found out that he plays Call of Duty. It all started when Gardner announced that he would be launching a new Warzone tournament for Call of Duty on X. He said he needed his NFL colleagues to get involved and write to him.
Following his tweet, a fan suggested that Gardner open the tournament to PGA professionals. Gardner expressed skepticism about PGA Tour players playing Call of Duty, with the 23-year-old wondering whether we’ll ever see Tiger Woods pick up a controller instead of a golf club. “Do PGA pros play on cash on delivery? Are they one of us? Under no circumstances will Tiger put his stick down to pick it up😂”
In response, the PGA Tour’s official account tweeted an old video of Woods expressing his love for Call of Duty. In the video, Tiger Woods said:
“JT texted me last night, what are you doing?” And I said, well, stop bothering me. I play Call of Duty. I brought my little portable playstation and played a little last night. \ “
Woods also said he was not like two weeks. The Gardner sauce was struck by the fact that Woods plays Call of Duty. He shared a video from the PGA Tour and wrote:
“What? My respect for Tiger has gone up 10x, I thought he’d already peaked #oneofus”

Two minutes later, he straightened out and asked if I wanted to go on the PGA Tour Pro, Amateur and Junior. He further wrote:
“I didn’t think you were one of us considering how hard golf is lol,” he wrote.
Sauce Gardner recently sparked controversy by saying that golf is harder for him than football. NFL stars will soon be hitting the football field as 2024 training camps begin later this month.
And Tiger Woods starts the 2024 British Open Championship at Royal Troon next week. The Major could well be Woods’ last tournament of the year. His performance in the Open Championship since his debut in 1995 is as follows:
Sauce Gardner has been playing golf for three weeks. He recently asked for advice on how to improve his game at X. In response, several PGA Tour players offered Gardner improvements. \ “He has a little speed for one thing. I mean a man athlete, we know that, but it’s very impressive. Clean up the short game a little and it will be very good and very fast.
Cameron Young agreed with Zalatoris about the driver and said:
“Short game – we need a little more weight forward, a little stiffer. But pretty good.”
PGA Tour player Chris Kirk was blown away by Sauce Gardner’s performance in just two weeks. He said (via the PGA Tour):
