Tiger Woods makes a surprise proposal, seeks reconciliation with ex-wife Elin Nordegren
Tiger Woods isn’t ready to end his relationship with ex-wife Elin Nordegren, according to a source. According to the National Enquirer, Woods is making every effort to reunite with Nordegren, including proposing over the Christmas holidays and offering her huge financial incentives. According to the magazine, Woods got down on one knee, gave Nordegren a ring, and told her he wanted to remarry.
To show his loyalty, Woods offered her a $350 million contract that included an anti-fraud clause to give her peace of mind. Despite the high price, Nordegren has taken it into consideration, suggesting that the golfer’s efforts to acquire it have not gone unnoticed.
The proposed gift would be worth more than half of Woods’ estimated fortune of $600 million and reflects Woods’ desire to repair the relationship. “Tiger hasn’t even hesitated to ask,” the source said. Though the accountant thinks he’s crazy, he’s ready to draw up a prenuptial agreement and set a wedding date. A man could never leave Elina. “He has met many models and prostitutes, but no one lasted more than one night,” he said.
Woods and Nordegren’s rocky relationship included a highly publicized divorce after Woods’ infidelity was revealed. The couple met in 2001, married in 2004 and, against the odds, were blessed with two children. Woods’ alleged proposal is an important step in rebuilding their relationship.
Nordegren has been divorced since 2010 and is renovating her home in Palm Beach, Florida. As the world continues to wait, only time will tell if this romantic development leads to a rekindled romance or a new chapter in Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren’s troubled saga.
