Mikelson opens the unification of the forest and transferred money to the merger LIV golf

Phil Michelson says that when he reunited with an outstanding enemy Tiger Woods in the training range of open championships, he exchanged small words.

“We said hello to each other,” he said. Yes, we said hello, but we were both preparing,” Mickelson said. “We’re not going to sit down and talk. But we said, ‘Yes, hi.'”
The 54-year-old, who was an architect of the LIV split two years ago, was asked if he and Woods are the most powerful voices on the PGA Tour trading committee that is negotiating a proposed merger with LIV sponsor Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF) – working together to resolve the split in the professional game.
“I don’t know. “Let’s see what happens,” he responded, claiming that while he helped drive the LIV exodus, he hasn’t played an active role in negotiations with the PGA Tour that could result in better players from rival circuits competing against each other more frequently.
“Look, I don’t understand this,” the six-time major champion said. “I have no involvement in this.” I am not sitting in these rooms. I like where I am, what I’m doing, and to play. I’ll let other people understand.
Mickelson shot one over in the rain-soaked third round at Troon to drop to six under, 13 strokes behind overnight leader Shane Lowry.
The “Lefty” hasn’t won a tournament since his astounding victory at the 2021 Kiawah Island PGA Championship, but even though he couldn’t pull off a second Burgundy pitcher victory on Sunday, he enjoyed his experience at Troon. In 2016, Henrik Stenson put up a phenomenal fight, with the Swede coming out victorious. “The round was fun,” he said.
“I had a good time. I didn’t score as well as I wanted but I always enjoy playing here and have a lot of great memories of this golf course from 2016 but even going back to 2004 when I missed the playoff by a shot. I just love Troon golf so much. “The round was fun, I enjoyed it.
