Latest Tiger Woods activity described as ‘sad’: “Must be bad blood”
Iconic images of Tiger Woods have been edited on his official website to remove any trace of the Nike logo.
The change was spotted by the ever-informed TW Legion who tracks the movements of the iconic golfer.
Woods left the sporting apparel giant in early January after being associated with the swoosh for 27 years.
He has since moved on to launch his own line, Sun Day Red, in a joint venture with his equipment manufacturer TaylorMade.
The decision to remove the Nike logo from photographs from some of Woods’ most iconic moments has led some fans to question if there is animosity.
That’s crazy,” one X user wrote. “Why edit old pics to remove the Nike logo? That’s not commonly done. Must be some very bad blood.”
Another added: “It’s wild to edit out the logo from the 2019 Masters win.”
