Bryson DeChambeau named golf’s ‘biggest star’ by former coach Tiger Woods
Bryson DeChambeau is one of the most famous and beloved golfers of all time. The two-time major winner has won fans’ hearts with his incredible moves and demeanor on the golf course. His YouTube channel recently hit 1 million subscribers, making it one of the most popular golf channels on YouTube.
Recently, Tiger Woods’ former coach Hank Haney commented on a segment of an interview with Chubby Chandler in which he talked about Bryson DeChambeau. Former pro golfer Chandler said DeChambeau reminds him of Arnold Palmer and heaped huge praise on the 2024 U.S. Open champion.
Commenting on the video, Tiger’s former coach Haney said DeChambeau is the star of the sport today. \ “Bryson Deshamba, the biggest star of today’s game,” commented Haney.
Hank Hini was a coach of Tiger Woods when he participated in 15 major championship winners in 2004. The two worked together until 2010, breaking up six years later.
During that time, Woods won 34 PGA tournaments and eight major championships. He was the most dominant golfer of his era and no other golfer could match his skill.

Bryson DeChambeau is at JCB Golf and Country Club for LIV Golf UK. The two-time US Open winner got off to a poor start as he was +2 and placed T48 after day one. Despite that, fans have been cheering for DeChambeau this week, and Chandler said he was surprised to see the fan reaction to Bryson.
“It’s been incredible to see the reaction to Bryson in the UK this week. “The fans love him and can’t wait to see the U.S. Open champion live at JCB Golf & Country Club,” said the former professional golfer.
Bryson started the second round well, with two birdies on the second and third holes. As of this writing, he is -4 on the day and -2 less for the entire tournament.
