Keegan Bradley meets with ‘The Boys’ for Ryder Cup showdown after blocking Tiger Woods at British Open

The 2011 PGA champion previously admitted he had sought out Woods for negotiations in Scotland and still wanted Woods to help lead the U.S. team, but cited off-course commitments when he declined the captaincy. “I told Tiger I want him to be as involved as he wants,” Bradley said.
“We don’t talk too much about the Ryder Cup because the British Open is on. We both have our jobs to do, so I don’t want to put Tiger through that. There are still 14 months to go, so I think there’s plenty of time.
Bradley is also said to have been in contact with his predecessor, Zach Johnson, who was in charge when the team lost 16.5-11.5 to Europe at the 2023 Rome World Cup. And, as they said, the 48 -year -old man approved that his brothers chose Webb Simpson as one of his secondary camps.

Upon his appointment, Bradley himself praised Simpson as “a valuable member of our leadership team and a trusted resource for me.” He added, “He has a lot of experience in team golf and knows what it takes to win.”
And he revealed that he is now in contact with other former captains and has enjoyed meeting players and potential team members so far. He will also plan other meetings before deciding on the final composition. “I’ve gotten text messages and congratulations from a lot of captains,” he said. “My plan is probably once the season is over, to actually start reaching out to some of my old captains and get it from them what they think they did right and what they did wrong.
