Speculation about Woods’ golfing future was rife at the British Open Championship, with the 15-time Grand Slam winner responding to calls from Colin Montgomerie to retire. Woods has struggled to be competitive in major tournaments since he was involved in a near-fatal car accident in February 2021.

As his body recovers, the golf legend hopes to add more PGA Tour events to his schedule and improve his game. A visibly emotional Rahm was forced to apologise to Tiger after he beat him on the Olympic golf course.

\”I think his words were, ‘I can’t wait to beat you out on the Champions Tour\’, or something like that.
