Tom Daily wins the fifth Olympic diving medal, but China takes money

Paris (AFP) -British Tom Daily abandoned as an Olympic champion on Monday, but won his partner Noahwyriams and Silver with a 10m platform of a man behind China and Yanhao.

Tom Daily (L) won the fifth medal at the fifth Olympics and dived with a 10m synchronous event with Male Williams.

It was the fifth medal in the 5th Olympics for the 30 -year -old Daily, and three years ago he won Matilly and gold at the same event at the Pandemic Pompong Tokyo Games. Three-time world champions Liang and Yang established their dominance from the first jump and never planned on relinquishing their lead. They finished with 490.35 points, beating Daley and Williams’ 463.44 and Canada’s Rylan Vince and Nathan Zombor-Murray’s 422.13. Daly and Williams battled with the Canadian duo for second place but pulled away in the second half. Daly made his Olympic debut at the 2008 Beijing Games as a 14-year-old. After winning gold at the Tokyo Olympics, he paid tribute to his late father, Rob, who died of cancer in 2011. He was one of Britain’s flag bearers at the Paris Games, along with rower Helen Glover. © 2024 AFP
