Bryson DeChambeau called on an invite to the Creator Classic
Bryson DeChambeau took to social media to call on an invite to the PGA Tour’s Creator Classic amid his recent rapid rise as a YouTube golfer.
The PGA Tour announced this week that they will be hosting the Creator Classic on the week of the season-ending Tour Championship at East Lake. The circuit have invited a whole host of some golf’s biggest content creators to play in the nine-hole event in the build-up to the 2024 finale in Atlanta.
The YouTube-golf scene has become hugely popular in recent years, with the latest big name to break onto the scene DeChambeau, after the LIV star launched his own channel over the past year.
DeChambeau became one of a number of big names to make the move to LIV in 2022, which led to the suspension of his PGA Tour membership. DeChambeau and co may well be set to be handed a route back to the American-based circuit, with the Tour in negotiations with the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia (PIF) over ending the fallout with LIV.
