Rewritten: Amanda Balionis, a prominent golf reporter for CBS, has been let go after the network received an alarming message from renowned golfer Rory McIlroy.

Amanda Balionis is a frequent presence in the golf scene, and her recent connection with Rory Mcllroy has led to speculation of romantic involvement.

After Northern Irish golfer Rory Mcllroy shocked everyone by declaring his intention to divorce Erica Stoll on May 13, many online users and American media outlets speculated that he is romantically involved with CBS reporter Amanda Balionis. Sources state that the closeness of their relationship has caught people’s attention while they have created a stir during PGA Tour as well; hence becoming popularly known as the “talk of links.”

Balionis, known as a prominent persona in golf broadcasting circles, is set to continue her position as CBS’s primary correspondent for the PGA Tour. She was last seen at Detroit Golf Club during the Rocket Mortgage Classic tournament where she conducted on-screen interviews with various players including the eventual winner.

Similar to her actions, Balionis quickly hits the road again. She recently shared on Instagram about her upcoming journey to Illinois with a photo of herself and her team. Captioning it as “That’s all from Detroit folks! It was an amazing traveling experience- next stop Silvis, Illinois squad!”

Rory McIlroy, previously rumored to be romantically involved with Balionis, will not participate in Deere Run. Despite this disappointment for the Northern Irish golfer, his most recent tournament was last month’s US Open after he canceled plans of divorcing wife Erica Stoll.

McIlroy was on the verge of securing his initial triumph in a major championship after 10 years at Pinehurst No.

With only five holes left, the player in second place trailed Bryson DeChambeau by two shots. Despite this promising position, his fortunes changed when he struggled with bogeys on three of his final four holes and lost hold of the lead.

In North Carolina, Mcllroy’s putter let him down during crucial moments as he failed to sink two short putts at the 15th and 18th holes. This was a stark contrast to his previous performance this season where he had successfully made all of his 496 attempts from within three feet until missing one at the fifteenth hole.
