Biles, aka The GOAT, just won another gold medal to add to her already extensive collection.
She took the top step of the podium in last night’s women’s all-around final. The win was an emotional one for Biles, who withdrew from Tokyo 2020 due to a “twist” phenomenon, in which a gymnast suddenly stops moving.

Biles’ latest gold medal came after she led Team USA to victory in the team final just a few days ago.
She has now won six Olympic gold medals and nine Olympic medals total, further solidifying her status as the most decorated gymnast of all time. To celebrate her undisputed title as the greatest of all time, Biles wore a diamond goat necklace after her floor exercise, which was the final apparatus gymnasts competed on.

The all-around competition consists of four events: vault, uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise. Biles started with the most difficult vault a gymnast can perform, the Biles II, a double pike.

But a highly-praised vault and a high-beam routine in the third round helped Biles regain the advantage. Finally, she took the ground, offering a routine with some of the most difficult tubes in the world, giving it a total score of 59,131 and the gold medal.
