Charlie Woods cry after being disqualified when an American lover participated in a brutal battle …

I wanted to win. “Charlie Woods shouted after being disqualified when the US junior amateur participated in a brutal battle.

Golf is an event of Tiger Woods’s family, and now it seems to be something else: USGA championship. On Wednesday night, Charlie Woods, the son of a 15-time major champion, became the second member of the Woods family to qualify for the U.S. Junior Amateur Championship. The younger Woods shot a 2-under 71 in qualifying at Eagle Trace Golf Club in Coral Springs, Fla., to earn medalist honors and one of 264 spots in junior competition’s most prestigious championship. According to the USGA, Woods overcame a slow start to qualifying, scoring five birdies in the final 16 holes to take the lead by one stroke.

“I didn’t play very well the first two holes, but I played very well the last 16 holes,” the younger Woods said Wednesday. “I told myself not to make any more bogeys or doubles and when I saw a birdie I took advantage of it. Putting was my biggest strength today.” I gave a lot of hits when needed. “”

Tiger’s son has reached the glory of the cult among golf fans for several years since his debut with the PNC Remars Championship. This glory grew only when her young career in golf continued to take off in southern Florida, but she also crossed. After Charlie’s brilliant (and terrifying) debut drew attention to his golf game, the younger Woods stepped back from the spotlight and spent his final months with his father as his swing coach.

“I trust him with my swing and my game,” Tiger said at the U.S. Open last week. “He’s seen it more than anybody else in the world. He’s seen me hit more golf balls than anyone. Especially in my putting, I tell him what to look for. He gave me some small accompaniment works today, which was wonderful. I tend to forget some of what I am working on, as it is fixed by hitting a specific pad with a specific pin. “”

The US junior amateur reminds me of the youngest competitive career in the forest, without anything else. In recent months, Charlie had some failed competition, including failure in trying to select a Cognizant Classic PGA tour in his hometown. At the end of last year, a high school Toby Harbeck coach talked about his development as a player. “There are some pins you don’t want to chase, but he chases everything. If you can take some of the pressure off him, he’ll be a better player,” Hrbek said, but… “He can blow away an opponent by over $300 in the blink of an eye.” There are different modes. Sometimes you take a nice little swing, or you can go ultra mode and just fly.

Now the focus will return to Oakland Hills Country Club in Michigan, where the young Woods will be playing for the United States in the Junior Amateur, the same tournament his father won three times as a junior golfer. Woods’ performance will be scrutinized closely in his first major, but he says that’s just what he loves about it. “It’s an incredible feeling to qualify for your first USGA championship,” he said. “The USGA means a lot to me. I want to get the USGA championship. »» »

I enjoyed reading the updates and will definitely follow you in the future to get more updates on Charlie Woods and his father Tiger Woods. I have followed his father for over 28 years and now I plan to watch over Charlie until I die. I love watching them play together and father and son playing golf and I wish they would play more matches each year, at least a few, it would be great to see four or five, it’s really cool, when you can see them together.
