After Charlie’s defeat at the 2024 U.S. Junior Amateur tournament, Tiger Woods intends to steer his son towards a career in business instead of golf.

When it comes to golf, Tiger Woods’ son is eager and attentive in receiving advice solely from his father. On the first of May, a Wednesday, the 48-year-old pro golfer made an appearance on Today and conversed with.

Carson Daly shared about the recent addition of his 15-year-old son Charlie to his entourage at the PNC Championship in Orlando, Florida.Daly opened with praise, stating that Charlie is fantastic and only 15 years old. He mentioned seeing the person at PNC where they played together and shared that Charlie has attempted to qualify for several events.

Can you describe the dynamics of that relationship during your time on the course? As someone with a teenager who’s opposed to any advice regarding their golf swing, I’m curious if you acted as both coach and father figure.”Will he heed your advice on broadcasting?” Woods inquired, and Daly answered affirmatively.Woods expressed his disappointment by saying, “It’s all the same. He pays attention to me regarding golf only because I have no knowledge about anything else.

“It’s understandable that there is some resistance in golf, especially given the fact that he’s only 15 years old. It’s a natural part of adolescence as young people try to carve out their own identity and navigate through life.Woods has two children, a son named Sam and a daughter aged 16 whom he shares with his ex-partner Elin Nordegren.

Charlie’s state championship ring was awarded in March, following his school’s triumphant win of the Class 1A golf title. Charlie’s parents, Woods and Nordegren watched admiringly as The Benjamin School team put their glittering new hardware on display.

The parents embraced Charlie and beamed with joy as they witnessed the ceremony, as depicted in photographs captured during the event.

Woods expressed his pride in his son during an interview with PGA and stated that he would support him regardless of the path he chooses, be it pursuing golf or not.
