Former world champion Adrian Lewis admits he ‘lost his hunger’ for darts – as he now eyes a return to the sport. And the Cross Heath chucker has said he shouldn’t be ruled out getting back on the oche this year and evening taking aim at the World Darts Championship.For a time the 39-year-old had the darts world at his feet when he won the PDC World Darts Championship in 2011 and then defended the title a year later. But he opted to take a break from professional darts with fans waiting to see if they’d spot Jackpot, who was mentored by Phil Taylor, on the big stage again.StokeonTrentLive reported how he was getting ready for a comeback, choosing the MODUS Super Series as his entry point competition.
