Cody Rhodes vs. Kevin Owens set for WWE Bash in Berlin
Cody Rhodes has chosen his opponent for WWE Bash in Berlin. Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes entered the ring on the August 9 episode of WWE SmackDown. After defeating Solo Sikore at WWE SummerSlam, he was looking forward to the WWE Bash in Berlin. He was interrupted by Sikoa and The Bloodline, with Sikoa demanding a rematch, which Rose refused, saying he had no right to ask for. Bloodline was about to attack Rose, but Owens rushed in and saved him.
Rose then told Owens he wanted a match, but Owens refused, saying he wasn’t worthy of a title shot. The champion made his point, saying that Owens has always supported him during his feud with Bloodline. He said he plans to speak with general manager Nick Aldis and is confident Aldis would agree with Rose. Update: Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes faced Nick Aldis later in the show. Aldis noted that he was waiting to talk to Roman Reigns about the title match. Owens expressed his disappointment, noting that many people deserve more recognition, after which Aldis confirmed that Owens would face Rhodes at the WWE Bash in Berlin.
