Tiger Woods delivers powerful message about Lakers star LeBron James
Tiger Woods has been in the spotlight for more than two decades, making him one of the few people on the planet who can understand what life is like for Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James.
But the fact that James, the winner of 15 major tournaments, still impresses is mainly due to his incredible longevity, still producing at an MVP level 17 years later. “It’s amazing that he’s been able to not only achieve it but also maintain it,” Woods told GOLFTV. “He’s been able to develop his game and become so complete. He’s played for a lot of different teams and won championships every time he’s gone, and the fact that he’s been in such a demanding sport for so long. He never misses a game, he never gets injured and he always looks after his body.
“It’s incredible that he’s been able to maintain this level for so long, considering his size, his speed and the stress he’s endured. He’s truly a freak of nature in that regard.”

And Woods, a fan of LA sports, expects even more success from James and his new running-mate Anthony Davis in the years to come. “There’s no reason why with Anthony Davis by his side he can’t continue to do this for a few more years,” Woods said. “It’s scary to think that it could take almost 20 years to play at that high a level.”
The Lakers are the favorites to win next season’s title, according to Odds Shark, at +400. The clippers continues with +450 before a large amount of drop, and the next dollar is +800. Of course, most of this can change in the busy off -season in the future. Woods was pressed on the biggest debate of all time between Michael Jordan and LeBron James but was unable to resolve it, calling them both great in their own ways. A diplomatic response from an athlete embroiled in the same controversy in his own sport. “This is not true: Michael Jackson was a better player than LeBron. But LeBron is rather an intermediary, but he can also mark it. He does it in another way. He’s the perfect hybrid of Magic and MJ. He can ball like Magic, he can rebound like Magic, he can score and rebound like him. But he was not asked to [carry] the workload and mark like MJ. However, it’s just remarkable what he could do. “”
James was quite categorical that he has been in a class to him since he won the title, but will not make any public comments on the very spoken debate. “There can be arguments, you can talk about that. I’m going to talk about that stuff with my guys and my friends when I get home, but I’m not going to talk about everything,” James said after winning his fourth NBA title earlier this month. “That’s not what I’m going to do, I don’t fall for that. I know how much Michael Jordan likes. I’m wearing Michael Jordan’s 23rd. When I first got my first pair of Jordans, you couldn’t tell me nothing. So, y’all can do the debates. I’m sure you all understand that.”
