Tiger Woods showcases upcoming clothing lineup with brand Sun Day Red

Tiger Woods\’ golf apparel brand, Sun Day Red, launched a new line on Thursday, August 15. Woods shared the promotional video on his Instagram Stories while the brand posted it on all of its social media profiles. The New Sun Sun Day is called a training collection and contains clothes suitable for sports training. The advertising video introduces the Defender of Star College Justin Lambon by Stanford Cardinal (Tiger Woods \ ‘Alma Mater). The training collection is already available on the official Sun Day Red website. The collection includes six pieces: Training Shorts ($100), Training Crew ($200), Training Hoodie ($225), Training Full Zip Hoodie ($250), Training T-Shirt ($75) and Training Dry Hoodie ($135 $). Tiger Woods launched the Sunday Red brand in February last year during the Genesis Invitative held at the Riviera Country Club. The release has occurred for several weeks after Woods has finished a long outstanding sponsorship with the Nike brand. Sun Day Red offers a full range of golf apparel, from hats to pants and shorts to wear on the course. The brand also sells rainy weather clothing in a variety of colours to match what Woods has worn regularly throughout his career. Tiger Woods’ 2024 season ended after he missed the cut at the British Open, and he said he doesn’t plan to play again until December at the Hero World Challenge in Albany, which he sponsors. However, the PGA Tour season runs year-round, concluding with the Tour Championship in August and resuming with the fall FedEx Cup in September. With this in mind, Woods may get the opportunity to play in one of the tournaments during this time, but it’s highly unlikely. As a result, Woods is unlikely to play on the PGA Tour until next season, as he currently has not qualified for the first tournament of the year (The Sentry), which is also the season’s first signature event. Woods, a 15-time major champion, needs a sponsor’s exemption to play in Hawaii.

What undoubtedly keeps Woods’ schedule busy is his job as player director on the PGA Tour policy committee. Negotiations with Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) are ongoing and Wood is in the middle of them – he even refused to captain the US team at the 2025 Ryder Cup. Woods was able to start the season in Genesis Invitational, as the 2025 season was on hold. This corresponds to what he said about the continuation of the calendar in the monthly tournament at the beginning of this season. That means Woods will be limited to playing just the four majors and a few other sporadic tournaments unless he changes his approach for next season.
