Simone Biles responds to the astounding TV numbers for women’s sports at the Paris Olympics
Following what many consider to be a successful Olympic Games for the U.S., Simone Biles spoke out about the astounding TV numbers for women’s sports at the Olympics.
Biles placed a five-pair-of-eyes emoji featuring the U.S. team next to a graphic highlighting the achievements of women’s sports in Paris. The calendar attended more than 66,000 fans for the first match of the women’s rugby competition, establishing a world record.
The American basketball team match against Japan attracted 3 million spectators to Pavkhina and the United States together, more than all basketball games at the Tokyo Olympic Games, in addition to the matches with a gold medal.
The Olympic final in women\’s soccer between Team USA and Brazil averaged 9million viewers, the most-watched Olympic soccer match in NBC history.

To cap off the graphic, the live broadcast of the women\’s team gymnastics final, where Biles led Team USA to a gold medal, drew 12.7million viewers on NBC and Peacock. This number is more than last year than the first round of the NFL draft and the NBA Final matches.
At the age of 27, Biles was the oldest member of the American gymnastics team, leaving Paris with four medals, three money, one money. She has also strengthened the status of one of the great American athletes of this generation.
The American female soccer team did not lose the game in Paris and won the first Olympic gold medal since 2012, leading to the audience. The male American team was excluded in the quarterfinals of Morocco.
Two US basketball teams won the gold medal, and seven rugby women, the US rugby team, won the first bronze medal. Biles did not say whether Paris was the end of her Olympic career or whether she would remain fit enough to try to qualify for Team USA at age 31 when the extravaganza takes place in Los Angeles in 2028.
