John Daly and his son, John Daly II were also in the field. Recently, Daly Sr shared a funny story about how he defeated Woods after a night of heavy drinking back in 1994 — fueled by Jack Daniels and Coke on the tee box before their round began.
Daly reminisced about a time at California’s Sherwood Country Club when he and some of his companions were indulging in copious amounts of alcohol following their game, only to catch sight of Woods entering the establishment.
